About this market
The Rockwood Community Market operates every Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Downtown Rockwood Plaza in Rockwood, Oregon. Organizers describe it as created "to showcase fresh, locally grown and culturally specific food in a shared community space," with a focus on supporting small, local, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and women-owned farms, food growers, and producers. The market was created in part to address Rockwood's status as a food desert with limited access to nutritious food.
