Achadinha Cheese Company is a family-operated ranch led by Jim and Donna Pacheco and their four children, William, Daniel, Elizabeth and David. The family tradition began 3 generations ago; they settled in Petaluma in 1969 and now milk about 125 Jersey and Holstein cows pastured on 230 acres, also raising beef cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, dogs and cats. No hormones or pesticides are used; cows are fed brewers grain, yeast, whey, and oat and alfalfa hay.
