About Ackerman Maple Farm
Ackermann Maple Farm started its sugaring operation in 2013 and has grown to 17,000 maple trees on 300 acres, making roughly 9,000 gallons of maple syrup every spring. They use a wood fire to evaporate the water from the sap, harvesting firewood only from trees fallen during Vermont winters and excess wood from family logging jobs. Products include maple syrup, maple cream, maple sugar, barrel aged and infused syrup, and gift boxes.
