About Arethusa Farm Dairy
Established by the Webster family in 1868 and bought in 1999, Arethusa Farm returned to dairying, growing from five cows to more than 300 today. At the dairy plant in the historic Bantam firehouse, they produce and package every Arethusa Farm Dairy product, from milk to ice cream to butter. The family of businesses also includes the restaurant Arethusa al tavolo (2013), the bakery Arethusa a mano (2016), and a second dairy store in downtown New Haven.
