Husband and wife Tongsee Xiong and Xai Lor own Bean Market Farm in the Rosemont area of Minnesota. Raised in a farming community in Laos, they immigrated to the United States in 1971 and began their family farm in 1996. They grow seasonal produce including asparagus, squash blossoms, peanuts, and strawberries using traditional methods without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides.
