The Black Dog Coffee Company roasts fresh coffee after finding that most beans on grocery store shelves and in many popular coffee shops were inferior grade, over-roasted beans that had gone stale long before they even reached the shelves. Offerings include fresh roasted coffee, coffee subscriptions, brewing gear, chocolates from Appalachian Chocolate Co., whole leaf loose teas, gift baskets and swag. Tours can be scheduled to see how they roast.
