Karen Foley writes short stories and books about recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction, and published a memoir about online dating, "Single and Sober: Who Found My Slipper?". She is an accomplished guitarist and singer/songwriter specializing in acoustic folk music, with a 13-track album of original folk songs, "Moments of Clarity" (2009). Her writing reflects over three decades of experience in recovery.
