About Cafe Medrano
The Medrano Family from the highlands of Copan, Honduras represents three generations of coffee growers ("caficultores"), started by brothers Julio, Emilio and Jose Domingo Medrano in the 1950s. Their farms in San Pedro de Copan-Capucas and Santa Rosa-Dulce Nombre, Copan grow 100% organic Arabica coffee at altitudes of 4,500-5,500 feet, processed via washed, honey, and natural solar drying methods before shipment to the Washington, DC metropolitan area for local roasting, packaging and distribution.
