About Chef Eloy's Kickin' Salsas
Eloy Carrera is the creator of Chef Eloy's 'Kickin' Salsas, LLC. His food career started in 1968 when he and his late wife, Adela, opened a Latin American restaurant called "El Tango" in McLean, VA, later moved to Adams Morgan in Washington, DC in 1970 and renamed "Carlos Gardel" — where the salsa recipes were created. In 2003, Chef Eloy began selling at local farmers' markets and his daughter, Sandra Stickovitch, joined that same year. All fresh salsas are made within 24-48 hours of each market date.
