Using no power tools and relying on traditional hand tools for all work, Daniel Hrinko crafts 18th century bentwood and joined boxes, tables, writing desks, and more. Each piece is constructed entirely by hand using period tools and techniques and is an exact reproduction or a representative example based on original pieces found in museum collections, produced for use in historic homes, museums, and other settings where historical accuracy is critical. Each item is identified with a maker's label in the style of the late 18th century. Daniel is recognized by both the Early American Life Directory of Traditional American Crafts and the Society of American Period Furniture Makers.
