Decatur Dairy is a small cheese company based out of Brodhead, WI and has been making cheese since the 1940's. Led by Master Cheesemaker Steve Stettler, a third-generation cheesemaker certified in six cheeses (brick, cheddar, farmers cheese, havarti, muenster and specialty Swiss), the facility produces up to 40 cheese types including Muenster, Havarti, Brick, Farmers Cheese, Colby Longhorn and Butterkase. Their cheese curds won Best of Class in the 2022 and 2024 World Championship Cheese Contest. The shop offers cheese curds, a picnic area, and grilled cheese sandwiches.
