Phil Ebert began Ebert Honey in 1980 with only about ten colonies in the backyard of his Fairfield, IA home. Today the family business sells honey and pollen, beeswax, containers, packages, nucs, and singles, and queen bees, with locations in Lynnville and Mount Vernon, Iowa. Ebert Honey also takes hives to northern California for almond pollination and delivers bees to Iowa orchards for apple pollination.
