About Encore Farm
On three acres west of Stillwater, Minnesota, Encore Farm grows heirloom edible dry beans using methods that conserve and nourish the soil. The beans are grown and tended with hand tools, harvested, threshed, and winnowed by hand, sorted by hand at least three times, and packaged kitchen-ready. Begun in 2007 as a midlife career change, the farm's mission is to introduce people to the beauty and flavor of heirloom beans and help maintain their diversity.
