EsSEAlante Designs is a woman-owned small business in Surf City, NC making handmade, sea-inspired laser-cut gifts. It began when founder Kimberly, a former CT middle school teacher with a Marine Science degree, designed a shark shadow box to display sharks teeth found on Topsail-area beaches; it grew into shadow boxes, key chains, earrings, magnets, ornaments and baby monthly markers, sold online and at local markets. Became an official LLC in 2024.
