About Fair Share Farm
Since 2003, Fair Share Farm has grown organic fruits and vegetables on a family farm in northeastern Clay County, Missouri, building soil health through cover cropping, mulching, composting, chicken rotations, and mineral additions. The farm keeps laying hens and sheep, runs a passive solar greenhouse, solar-powered irrigation, an electric tractor, and a 20kW solar array, and produces live-culture fermented foods from farm-grown produce in its on-farm commercial kitchen.
