About Growing Home
Growing Home operates the first and only USDA-certified organic high-production urban farms in Chicago, at the Wood Street and Honore Street Farms in Englewood (.87 acres). Since 2002 they've run their farms as a social enterprise, growing baby salad mix, arugula, collard and mustard greens, and signature tomatoes among over 200 vegetable varieties, harvested March through December using hoop houses. All produce is grown, harvested, cleaned, and sold within a 20-mile radius.
