About Jersey Girl Cheese
Jersey Girl Cheese is a small batch cheesemaker carrying on Southern Italian cheese making traditions, made at Hillcrest Orchard and Dairy in Branchville, New Jersey (Sussex County) using milk from grass-fed Jersey cows fed a non-GMO diet of silage and hay grown on the farm. Cheese is aged in a cheese cave dug into the hillside, producing traditional Italian cheeses like Caciocavallo, Canestratto, Toma and Scamorza. Sold at their farm store (2 Davis Road, Branchville, NJ) and Cheese Shop (179 East Main Street, Rockaway, NJ).
