Founded by Dylan Darius Mehri, Joon Gardens represents family, growth, and resilience. On the acre of land next to the family home, Dylan grows fruits, vegetables and herbs. With grants & support from the New Connecticut Farmer's Alliance, UConn Ag. Extension, USDA-NRCS, and Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy, Joon Gardens began implementing regenerative farming practices such as soil conservation, native perennial plantings, invasive species management, and recently constructed a high tunnel.
