About Junebug Organics
Junebug Organics grew from a seed in late 2020 and bore fruits and vegetables in spring 2021. Owner Sonia is an Appalachian State graduate (Sustainable Development, Sustainable Agriculture) with a Master's in Extension Education from Colorado State. The two-acre farm on Carter Creek produces garlic, lettuce, basil, broccoli, tomatoes, berries, and more, sprays no pesticides or herbicides, uses minimal tillage, and sources seed and compost locally.
