About JWS Woodshop
JWS Woodshop offers custom yet affordable woodwork. The maker has worked with wood for over 40 years, started building for family and friends, and now builds for customers after retiring from academia and moving to Maryland. Pieces can be customized with wood burning by Alison, wood is sourced locally when possible (often within a two county radius, sometimes from Howard County), and finishes are natural oil/hard wax, ultra-low VOC and food-safe.
