About Lazy Eight Stock Farm
Lazy Eight Stock Farm is a 420 acre Certified Organic farm run by the Baumann family (Carla, Lothar, Bryce, Anna, Jack and Molly). Started in 1979 with sweet corn, the farm ended tobacco in 1997, joined USDA Certified Organic in 2012, and began its CSA the same year. They use biological farming, solar power, and biomass-fueled greenhouse heating, and offer vegetables, flowers, herbs, and plant sales including asparagus plugs.
