MM Persimmon Farm picks its fruit to order, offering three types of persimmon: fuyu (orange skin, crunchy texture), maru (yellow green skin, crispy texture, brown specks in the flesh), and hachiya (heart shaped, orange reddish skin, must be eaten when soft, good for baking and cooking). They ship to the outer islands as well. Farm hours are daily during persimmon season, 8 AM – 5 PM unless sold out; closed in the off season.
