About Rail Fence Farm

Kenneth Vanhoy grows plants and vegetables while his wife Laura Frazier raises Gulf Coast Native and American Finnsheep, tri-purpose sheep producing wool, meat, and milk, and makes yarn, wool dryer balls, clothing, and felted wool sculptures. The farm uses an integrated system with composted sheep manure, OMRI approved fertilizers, cover crops, and crop rotation instead of chemical fertilizers and herbicides. Remaining acreage produces vegetables and Christmas Trees, plus hay and pasture for sheep.
