About Rail Fence Farm
Rail Fence Farm is run by Kenneth Vanhoy, a board-certified geologist turned farmer, and his wife Laura Frazier, who raises Gulf Coast Native and American Finnsheep for wool, meat, and milk. The farm has been in the Lasley/Vanhoy family since the early 1900s, with Bill Vanhoy owning it since 1965. They use composted sheep manure, OMRI approved fertilizers, composted leaf mulch, wood ash, and cover crops instead of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or fungicides.
