Scott Richard is the founder and operator of Shoshone River Farm, a 3.5-acre diversified vegetable farm located 8 miles northeast of Cody, Wyoming, supplying vegetables to Farmers Markets, CSA Harvest Shares in Cody and Red Lodge, and Restaurants. The farm uses eight high tunnels and four heated greenhouses, adds compost to build soil, and uses predatory insects for pest management rather than chemical intervention; it follows many organic principles but is not officially certified organic.
