Southard Farms raises pastured pigs, laying hens, and broiler chickens using rotational grazing through pasture and wood lots. Hogs are a closed herd, farrow to finish. Laying hens and turkeys are raised from day old chicks and rotated across alfalfa fields; broiler chickens moved to pasture at three weeks old and rotated daily across fresh pasture.
