About Spring Forest Farm
Spring Forest Farm raises cows born, raised, and finished on pasture, eating a diverse diet of grasses, herbs, tree leaves, honey locust seed pods, and occasional pecan, chestnut, apple, pear, blackberry and mulberry. Beef is processed at a USDA inspected facility and transported back to the farm in a health department inspected meat trailer. No chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides are used on pastures, and they use an intensive silvopasture system.
