About The Back Country Peddler
The Backcountry Peddler is a living history mercantile operated by proprietor and seamstress Janet B. Pyatt. As of Summer 2021 the storefront moved to 323 N. Lee St., part of the Railwalk Arts District in downtown Salisbury, N.C., with a re-opening held July 16-17. The shop serves the living history community as museums and historic sites re-open, restocking inventory and planning new workshops through the summer and fall.
