The Holton Homestead was accidentally founded in 2015 when the family moved to a small acreage in Elkhart. They wanted fruit trees, a garden, animals, and bees. A small flock of chickens produced more eggs than they knew what to do with, leading to an Ankeny egg route delivering eggs to 40+ families weekly. Their mission is to work with nature to provide wholesome foods and natural products, always handcrafted by them.
