The SpringHouse Country Store, Creamery and Eatery, started by the Sam and Bev Minor family in 1975, still milks its own herd of Holsteins and Jerseys. Offerings include from-scratch lunch and supper dishes, hand-crimped pies and baked goods, their own hormone-free milk in whole, two percent, skim, heavy cream, buttermilk and chocolate, and hickory-smoked hams and salmon. Catering is available in Washington, Canonsburg and Pittsburgh, PA.
