About Von Trapp Farmstead
Since 1959, this family farm in the heart of Vermont has produced distinctive organic Vermont cheeses, yogurts, and pastured meats. As farmstead cheesemakers, they practice organic regenerative farming: cows graze on pasture, manure fertilizes the land, and whey from cheesemaking feeds forest-raised pigs. The farm store, opened in 2020, is open year-round and carries their certified organic cheeses and yogurts, pastured meats, and products from over 40 different Vermont producers.
