Juliana Sukut is the self-taught gouache artist behind Waxwing Designs. Partial to birds, she loves to paint the animals and landscapes found in her home state. She picked up painting in 2022 after being gifted a set of gouache paints. She decided to pursue art full-time in 2024 and left her career in journalism. In her free time, Juliana can be found skiing, hiking, kayaking and generally being outside in her homebase of Bozeman, Montana.
